Shared Living Communities / In these shared living communities, people with mental illnesses who are not (yet) able to live in their own apartments find a home.
Residents may live in the shared housing community either permanently or temporarily, until they wish to change their living situation. Each community accommodates between 7 and 12 residents. Every resident has a private room, while common areas are shared by all. This arrangement offers opportunities to spend time with housemates as well as the option to retreat for privacy.
Each shared housing community is supported by a team of caregivers. These caregivers provide residents with round-the-clock assistance in all areas of daily life where support is desired.
