Employment projects are an offer for people with mental illnesses who wish to pursue employment where they are supported by caregivers according to their personal needs.

Working in an employment project is not a regular employment relationship subject to social security contributions, but rather a structured daily routine under the Vienna Equal Opportunities Act. Here, people can find activities that match their interests and in which they can learn new things. In addition to learning work techniques and developing new career prospects, new social contacts can be established.
