Ombudsman's Office / Since the beginning of 2020, LOK has had an internal ombudsman's office. A former EX-IN employee works for it.
Clients can inform the ombudsman's office staff of their wishes, complaints, and suggestions concerning their care provided by LOK. Together, they will consider what can be done. These concerns will only be discussed with others with the client's consent. Clients can also contact the ombudsman's office anonymously.
The ombudsman's office is independent and treats requests, complaints, and suggestions confidentially. The ombudsman's staff member visits clients regularly in their setting (group home, support center, employment project) so they can talk to him or her.
At the organizational level, the ombudsman's office collaborates with quality management and is in contact with management and department heads to address structural issues.
