At this juncture, we do not wish to get overly philosophical. Instead, we would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce ourselves.

The (B)LOK is a part of the Writing Workshop—a leisure group affiliated with the LOK association—which was originally founded in 2015. The Writing Workshop meets on the last Wednesday of every month at one of the association’s venues to write or read aloud original texts, to share items brought from home (such as artwork or photographs), or simply to engage in a relaxed, creative exchange.

For those interested in publishing their work, there are various options available; one of these is the (B)LOK.

Here, you can regularly view texts and images created by individuals who either submit their work to the Writing Workshop remotely or attend its monthly meetings in person.

In the past, we have organized joint readings in collaboration with the *Erstes Wiener Lesetheater* (including the reading "Narrenschiffe – Antipsychiatrie" [Ships of Fools – Anti-Psychiatry]), helped shape the program for the LOK retreat titled "Vom Wirken der Erfahrung" [On the Impact of Experience], and published contributions in the Viennese newspaper *AUGUSTIN*.

If you are interested in getting involved, please feel free to register directly on the (B)LOK platform, or contact us via email at werner.fink@lok.at or stefan.oreilly@lok.at.
