The Congress - under the auspices of Mrs. Sonja Wehsely, Town Councillor of Vienna, Health and Social AffairsThe international congress 'About the Bright Feigned Light of Integration - Handicapped People on the Fringe of the Achievement-Oriented Society' is organized by the Austrian association LOK - Leben ohne Krankenhaus (Living without Hospital) and will be held on 22 and 23 March 2007 at the Austria Center Vienna. A cultural framework programme will be offered during the congress. |

In addition to social scientists and experts in the field of mental health care, representatives of self-help organizations for handicapped people as well as political decision-makers will address the audience and present their views. An important aspect of the event is its international approach.
